Biography
I am a visual artist working as an artist assistant. Born in 1993 in Saudi Arabia, I have been living in Riyadh since 2024. I obtained a diploma from the Department of Architecture at the Technical and Vocational Institute in Jeddah. I use interdisciplinary artistic strategies and tools, with looped video being a key method in my approach. It allows me to record, document, and preserve fleeting moments.
I also work with various materials such as sand and animated lenticular printing, which enable the preservation of moving scenes without relying on electricity. This enhances viewer engagement in the artistic experience. Through ready-made elements and kinetic installations, I aim to engage viewers and transform their relationship with artwork into an interactive and testable experience.
My work revolves around research questions exploring human sensitivity to nature and external influences, focusing on the motivations and circumstances that influence human feelings and behaviors. Do we experience fleeting phenomena, or do we absorb all influences that we believe we have ignored?
Growing up in an environment with visible and invisible borders everywhere, I constantly seek new forms of expression and reduction. I aim to amplify the invisible layers of reality and provoke its structures. This is what art offers me, and this is what I aim to offer others, especially those who remain silent or oppressed.
Through my work, I explore different possibilities for imagining, embodying, and reflecting on living together in an increasingly divided world. By engaging with topics such as status, sentiment, and memes, I aim to stimulate meaningful dialogue and understanding. finally, i want to create peace just as much as i want to create art
